Author Guidelines

INSTRUCTION FOR AUTHORS

JOURNAL OF LIVESTOCK SCIENCE AND PRODUCTION

DEPARTEMENT OF ANIMAL SCIENCE, FACULTY OF AGRICULTURE, UNIVERSITAS TIDAR

 

GENERAL INFORMATION

Journal of Livestock Science and Production (JaLSPro) accept manuscript written in Bahasa Indonesia or in English.

  1. Manuscript submitted to the Journal of Livestock Science and Production must be an original results of research or review article, must not have been published in or submitted previously to a peer-reviewed scientific journal.
  2. Manuscript must be written in Microsoft Word according to the template provided below. The template can be downloaded at http://jurnal.untidar.ac.id/index.php/jalspro.
  3. The size of manuscript file must not more than 5 MB.
  4. Manuscript written in Bahasa Indonesia or in English using Arial font at 11 points, with 1.5 of space, the margin should be no less than 2.5 cm all around in A4 (21 × 29.7 cm), and total number of pages is 10 – 20.  
  5. The lines on all pages must be numbered consecutively in the left side of the pages beginning with number one (1) in each page.
  6. Pages on the manuscripts must be numbered consecutively in the bottom right hand corner.

 

SYSTEMATIC OF WRITING

Manuscript should contain following section in this order: Title page, Abstract, Introduction, Material and method, Result and discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgement (if any), and References.

 

TITLE AND AUTHORS

  1. The tittle of manuscript must be written in capital letter of Arial font at 11 points, bold, and no more than 20 words.
  2. The name of authors must be written using Arial font at 10 points (in full name), bold, without professional ranks or titles.
  3. Author’s institutions address, including name of Departement, Faculty, University, City, Country, and Postal Code must be written below author’s name using Arial font at 9 points.
  4. In case of authors are from more than one institution, key the author to the address with superscript of Arabic numerals and write the additional institution address as footnote in the bottom of page. Also, key the corresponding author name with “ * “ and include email address.

 

ABSTRACT

  1. The word Abstract must be typed using Arial font at 11 points, the first letter of word abstract is uppercase, bold, italic, and separate page with the body-text of abstract.
  2. The abstract consists of no more than 200 words in one paragraph using font at 10 points with single-space.
  3. The abstract contains a brief but understable summary. It begins with the aim of research followed by material and method, results, and conclusion.
  4. The data which have been shown in result and discussion should not be written in abstract.

 

KEY WORDS

  1. Keywords should be written in no more than 5 (five) words or phrases.
  2. The word key words must be typed on separate line after the body-text of abstract, using Arial font at 10 points, bold, followed by colon. The key words presented in alphabetical order and separated by commas.

 

GENERAL RULE OF MANUSCRIPT

  1. Each subtitles must be typed using Arial font at 11 points and bold.
  2. New paragraphs should be typed indent-first line 0.75 cm.
  3. Every numeral should be written as number, except in the first sentence and integers under ten must be spelled.
  4. Table and figure must be labelled clearly and must be numbered consecutively using arabic number.

 

REFERENCES

The authors are suggested to refer Harvard Referencing Standard. All references must be written in the text. An up to date references are prioritized.
