KABASTRA accepts articles resulting from studies or research related to language and literature. KABASTRA provides open access on the principle of making study or research results freely available to the public and supporting greater global exchange of knowledge. Articles that have been submitted to the KABASTRA Journal copyright remains with the author. Authors may not submit articles to journals or other media during the review process.

KABASTRA is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal, dedicated to publishing research results in the fields of language and literature. All publications in the journal KABASTRA are open access which allows articles to be freely available online. KABASTRA is professionally managed and published by UPA Bahasa of Tidar University in collaboration with HISKI Kedu to assist lecturers, academics, practitioners, researchers, teachers, and the public in disseminating their research results. Journal KABASTRA is published 2 times a year, namely in June and December.
