Abstract

The use of technology in language and literature teaching has opened up new opportunities for enhancing multicultural literacy. In the midst of globalization, understanding different cultures is crucial. Online learning platforms, interactive applications, and social media can be utilized to present literary works from different corners of the world along with their social contexts. Students can gain access through videos, podcasts, and online discussion forums, providing unique opportunities to experience cultural diversity firsthand. The integration of technology also enables collaboration between students from different backgrounds, allowing them to share experiences and perspectives that broaden their horizons. Teachers can create an inclusive and engaging learning environment using this technology, encouraging active participation in cross-cultural discussions. As a result, not only do students’ language skills improve but also their empathy and tolerance for differences are enhanced. Therefore, the right application of technology will be key to creating a generation that is sensitive to cultural diversity.
