Abstract

Educational and social system affect on students learning experience. Educational system will be good integrated with continuous interaction of School personel, family and community. Howefer, Novel Corona Virus poses challenges and unexpected changes for educational institutions, including high education institution (HEI). Lewin’s Model of change management widely used as guide for organization to implement, manage and evaluate changes in the institution. This study aims to analyze Lewin’s change management model can be applied in dealing with change in educational institution. By using conceptual research method, three stages of Lewin’s change management model will be identified for dealing management change in education institution. Education in organization context is a systematic process of planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling which is conducted by administrator. Organization will change from the current condition (before) to the expected condition (after) by mobilizing existing resources. With Lewin’s stage, change as results of novel corona virus pandemic in educational institution will be effective.
