Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Submission Preparation Checklist 

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The author should declare the article free from plagiarism and stated in the ethical statement (Surat Statement Etika Publication).
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines 

 Journal of Junior Agricultural Scientist Article Writing Guidelines

 Articles submitted must be in accordance with the following general conditions:

  1. The article has never been published in another journal, and or is not in the process of being published by another journal.
  2. Articles that have been submitted at scientific meetings should be footnoted about the meeting.
  3. The manuscript file is in Microsoft word format.
  4. A4 paper size (21 cm x 29.7 cm).
  5. The upper 3,5 cm and lower-left-right border is 2.5 cm each.
  6. Spacing 1, font type Times New Roman, font size 11, unless otherwise noted.
  7. The article is accompanied by an ethical clearance signed by the author.
  8. Articles presented not in accordance with the provisions of the journal will be returned.
  9. Tables, graphs and figures are inserted in the manuscript, with a resolution of at least 300 dpi. Number and caption clearly above the table and below the figure/graph.
  10. The maximum limit of plagiarism is 20%.
  11. The literature listed in the bibliography is completely cited and comes from the original source, so that the links written in the bibliography can be searched.
  12. Soft copies of articles are sent to the Editor of TOI Journal via online submission by logging in to the https://jom.untidar.ac.id/index.php/jas

 

 

Article Structure

Heading

The main title is written short, clear and reflects the content of the article a maximum of 14 words; written in Indonesian, single spaced, Times New Roman font size 12; capitalize each word, bold. Author name font size 11 and affiliation written in full including email for correspondence, single spacing, bold,  font size 10. The author's name for the correspondence is given a superscript asterisk.

Abstract

Abstracts are arranged in English. The abstract contains briefly about the background, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions. Abstract contains maximum 200 words, single spacing, font size 11. Keywords maximum five words.

Introduction

The introduction contains the background, problems and objectives of the research. Also mention previous studies that have been done. Spacing is 1 and Times New Roman font size is 11. The titles and contents of tables are written in one space and the font size is 11. The table is not made closed, it only uses a horizontal line separating the title and lower border. Write a source citation by including the author's last name followed by a year number.

Methods

This section contains the location and time of the study, materials, how it works and analysis of research data. The method is clearly described in the form of a narrative according to the type of research. If the method used is a standard method, it is enough to write citations, if there are modifications then the modified part is written.

 Results and Discussion

The main results of the research are displayed based on the method used can be in the form of tables or figures that are clearly explained. The discussion explains the reason for obtaining the results and what is the meaning or meaning of the results obtained and is not a repetition of the presentation of the data sentenced.

Conclusion

Conclusions are written in paragraph form. This section concludes the research results in accordance with the research objectives.

The bibliography written is the library cited in the article.
